1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of scottishweddingvendors.co.uk ("the Site"), operated by Scottish Wedding Vendors ("we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms.

2. Using the site

The Site is a directory connecting wedding vendors with couples planning weddings in Scotland. Couples may browse the directory and send enquiries without creating an account. Vendors must register an account to create a listing.

3. Vendor accounts

  • You must provide accurate, up-to-date business information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must not create multiple accounts for the same business.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or remove listings that contain inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate content.

4. Listings and content

  • You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, etc.).
  • By uploading content, you grant us a licence to display it on the Site and in marketing materials.
  • You must not upload content that infringes copyright, is defamatory, or is otherwise unlawful.
  • We may edit or remove content that violates these terms.

5. Subscriptions and payments

  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
  • You may cancel at any time through your dashboard or the Stripe customer portal.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Enquiries

When a couple sends an enquiry through the Site, we forward it to the vendor's email address. We are not a party to any agreement between vendors and couples. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of vendor services.

7. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the Site will be available at all times or that content will be error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

8. Intellectual property

The Site design, logo, and original content are owned by Scottish Wedding Vendors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
